Indoor Sports
We have ideal facilities for a variety of sports. With two LTA standard Indoor Tennis Courts, a multi purpose sports hall and activity room we can provide the location for your sporting competitions, training or social gathering. So whether you want to play 5-a-side football, badminton, tennis, table tennis or basketball we have the facility.
5-a-side Football
Come and play competitively or just for fun. Booking in advance is essential as is a very popular facility.
Tennis
Both indoor and outdoor courts available for all to use. Advance booking is necessary as this is a popular facility. For tennis coaching please see www.puretennis.co.uk Rackets and balls available for hire, just a deposit required.
Badminton
4 Badminton Courts available for much of the day. Burgate Badminton Club are based at the leisure centre. Rackets and shuttlecocks available for hire, just a deposit required.
Basketball
Here at Downton Leisure Centre we are able to offer indoor basketball. We have two full size wall mounted nets, and two end to end full size pull out basketball nets. We can take bookings for full court of half court sessions on a pay as you play basis or you can take out a block booking with us.
